Surya is a writer. Her work can be found in The Colorado Review, Majuscule Magazine, Bowdoin Magazine, The Audacity, The Willowherb Review, and Catapult. She earned an MFA in creative writing from Northwestern University in 2024 and currently teaches writing at Montana State University.
